Welcome to Booderee National Park. This is a significant place for Koori people. Booderee means bay of plenty or plenty of fish in one of our languages, the Dhurga language. Booderee is owned by the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community and we are proud to share our culture and country with you.

 

Total Fire Ban

Walking tracks closed - 20 October 2013

There is a total fire ban in place until further notice for the Shoalhaven area including Booderee National Park due to severe fire weather. For the safety of our visitors, Booderee's Botanic Gardens and all the park's walking tracks, except those leading to beaches, will be closed. In the event of any fire within the park, please follow all staff instructions. For the latest updates in the region, please visit NSW Rural fire service website.
